Forest Life (PG ~ Pokemon)

Chapter 0 ~ Backstory

A little girl and her parents were playing in a pond nearby Fortree City. The little girl had two braids on the back of her head and was wearing a little purple dress. She smiled and hopped on a Lotad's lilypad, giggling. "Hello Mr. Lotad, how are you today?" she asked the Lotad. All the Lotad responded with was a light-hearted 'Loooota~d!'. The girl was satified and munched down on a Sitrus berry. Jumping over to the other side of the clear pond with Marill and Lotad playing with eachother and swimming, an Absol sat next to her and dropped some berries. "Oh, Ms. Absol.. are these for me?" she asked. The Absol nodded and looked down in a bit of a sad way. The girl frowned. "Ms. Absol, what's wrong?" she said while breaking one of the berries in half and giving it to the Absol. "You can try and tell me.." The Absol shook its head though, left the berry by her and walking off back into the forest. She frowned again, wondering what was up with the Absol. Usually Ms. Absol is very happy to see me, and we play and Ms. Absol and Mr. Tropius and me have fun getting berries.. But when the girl looked over to where her parents were sitting, they were gone. She looked around the forest with a Zigzagoon she always played with, but never found where her parents were. She waited near the pond to see if they came back, but they never did...

That's a really good fic.

Seems very happy, but once it got to the Absol part, and it was sad, I knew something was going wrong.

Good foreshadowing.

Every mention of a female Absol reminds me of one of my own characters. o_O

Chapter 1 ~ Treehouse Making

A girl around 13 got up from the ground, a golden hue to everything in the forest. The sun just had risen up into the sky. Another day living by herself in the forest, as usual. Without any people as company, at least, since she was great friends with a lot of the Pokemon in the forest as a child. Stretching, she planned to go stop by the bakery in Fortree City to get herself a bite to eat. Until she realized that she had no money, though, she sat back down and ate a couple of berries from her stash. "Oh, look.. Latias, you're back. Where's Latios?" she asked a slightly glowing figure visible through the thick forest. The figure zoomed right near her face, startling the girl. Latios is looking for things to build a treehouse, Elise. I was going to see if we can get something from a restaurant in Fortree, so I thought I'd pick you up. Elise frowned. "I don't have any money, though. I hear the owner of the bakery in town is pretty generous though, so maybe he'll let us have some bread." Latias smiled. Alright, let's go there then. Hop on~!
