Obyri History.

The history of the obyri begins in the middle ages, around 1300 A.D., when human vampires were about a quarter of the human population. In those times, the only known way to really kill a vampire was holy water, and that was really hard to come by. Most, if not all of the normal human beings lived in fear of being to turned into a vampire, stuck into that form until their soul was put to rest.

In order to help the cause of destroying these vampires, the "Scientists" (So-called because they were using alchemy with their medical arts) injected vampire venom into about fifty test subjects, mostly Aipom and Rattata.

Then, the scientists saw and wrote down what happened to the test subjects, like weight loss, height gain, if they got more aggressive, and so on. About ninety percent of said Pokemon test subjects went into a killing spree, biting and scratching themselves until they died. Most of the other one's died outright, leaving the scientists to almost close down the project.

Just as they were about to shut down the entire project completely, they saw that a single Rattata lived and had some of the ideals the scientists wanted. It had much longer teeth and fangs, it grew about three inches, and it liked the taste of blood. Feeling like they have finally achieved the ideal being to fight the vampires, they decided to name it "Obyri" after the vampires themselves.
