Orange league RPG: Dive school 101.

"Okay Marcus, you stay here and wait for Ino to come back from her diving trip while me and Michael hunt down that Mantine."

Marcus looked at her like she was crazy.

"Hey, I'm back. What now?"

"Did you find anything down there?"

Michael comes back.

"Hey!"

"I'll fish and Surf for Mantine. Of course, that will cause me to catch a Water-type.

*Searches for a rod*

" Not much to look at. I wanted a water type, but it's barren there"

*Returns*

"Look! I found a Shellos," Michael shouts.

((Throws a Poké Ball))

((Ball moves))

Alright! I caught a Shellos.

"Want to battle, anyone?"

Finally created my character!

Name: James
Gender: Male
Pokemon: Staryu
Age: 15
Appearance: His shaggy, jet black hair, which almost covers his equally black eyes, is always rapped up in a blue bandana that boasts the Team Merr logo. He's dressed up like any Team Merr Grunt, and doesn't stand out much.
Misc: He's one of the youngets members of Team Merr, has always been treated as though he can't think for himself. The only one who seems to have faith in him is his father, who is also a member of the organization. Though he tries not to show it, James always dreams of leaving Team Merr, perhaps to challenge the Orange League, but at the same time doesn't want to dissapoint his father.

IC: Once again, James was left to swab one of Team Merr's many ships. But this wasn't just any ship, this was the Captain's ship, and it was considered on honor for such a young member to be allowed to be on it. He'd never been able to go on any important missions, but he had no choice to comply with the leader's demands; however, the boring afternoon would soon be interrupted by an urgent message.

The monotonous sound of the deck mop had burned into James's mind, and he'd become accustomed to the rhythm. Suddenly, the rhythm was interrupted by a frantic, overweight man, who struggled his way up the stairs of the ship. He ran up to James's father, nearly slipping on the wet floor, and took a few seconds to catch his breath.

"What is it, Eugene?" asked James's father, in a docile tone.

"You've... Got... To see... Captain!" Said the man, in between deep breaths. 'Captain' was how they often referred to the leader of Team Merr. The man had finally caught his breath, and he stood up straight.

"Captain?" asked James's father, "Why?"

"I'm afraid we can't discuss it here," the man said, "We've got to see the captain in his quarters." Marcus overheard everything that was said, and followed the two men as they headed down into the ship, where the Captain's large quarters were located. Upon entering the room, the three of them stood up as straight as they could, and gave the Captain the Team Merr salute. The Captain ushered his two bodyguards out of the room, and sat in his large chair.

OOC: Well, since you're playing the captain, GSC, I'll leave this part to you!

((You know, I already have a charactor named Marcus, but that's fine))

Marvin was standing in front of his gang. "Now you best listen. I want the ship map that's locacted in the Orange League gym we've set acnchor near."

"No!" Michael angrily shouts.

"Then why don't you battle me for it?" Marvin & Marcus shout together.

Eh, Cheese, Marcus and Marvin are on the ship, not at the gym.

((I know. I have my Pokés on hand))

((Oh, you do? Well, that's probably where I got it from then. I'll change it))

The two men nodded in obedience, but, catching his son's odd glance, he looked at the Captain.

"Sir," he said, "Would it be okay if my son went in the place of me? I'm sure it would teach him an important lesson on how to be a good member of Team Merr." The corners of James' mouth perked up in a bit of a smile, he hoped the Captain would listen to his father.

Marvin eyed James for a moment. "Alright. You can go.", but he sounded sly.

It took every ounce of restraint in his body for James not to express his excitement. He gave the Team Merr salute one more time, and walked out of the Captain's quarters, following the man from earlier. James' father stayed behind.

"Thank you sir," he said, "I'm sure you won't regret this. I take full responsibilty for my son." He, too, gave the salute and walked out of the room.

"Alright. Let's go!"

Marvin sat down at his desk with a sly look. He had been wanting to get rid of Marcus for sometime...

James did his best to look official, and he followed the fat man as he wobbled his way off of the ship.

"Follow me and don't try anything funny," he said with a harsh glare. The last thing he wanted was to babysit some kid. James wasn't bothered by the look and readyied his Pokeball for any upcoming battles.

"I'm going to see if I can find a water type now."

Meanwhile, back at the gym, Mary was in her office studying the map again.

The ship with wings. To the sun, then the moon. Then below forever more

She looked troubled.

Not long after they left the ship, James spotted a girl, not much younger than him, approach the lake. She must be the one with the map. He thought. Apparently, the fat pirate thought the same thing, and shouted, "Hey, you. Don't move!" He did his best to move his large body as fast as he could.

As Ino was walking on the beach, she sees a wild Wooper sitting down in the shoreline.

"Allright! Wooper, your mine!"

The girl ignored the man and tried to catch a Wooper. The man hadn't gotten very far, but had to fight to catch his breath. James walked behind him.

"Hey!" the man called again while waving his arms franticly.

Mary stepped out of her office. The ship with wings. To the sun, then the moon, and then below forever more.

Marcus was sweeping the front porch when Mary came out.

"What's the matter boss?", Marcus asked.

She smiled at him sweetly. But it was a fake smile. "I'm just working something out, that's all."

Marcus put down his broom and leaned over the porch rail. "You know, I'm suprised your worried about "It" comming back. Don't you have a bond with it?"

"Marcus", sighed Mary, "this a prophecy we're talking about. Something could go terribly wrong if we don't play our part."

"You still belive those things?", asked Marcus.

"I've heard of "seeing is beliving", but your rediculeus!", shouted Mary. She went back inside and slammed the door behind her.

Michael watches Ino catch the Wooper.

"Go Teddiursa!" Ino says.

Ino looks around briefly. She sees Michael and another person. "Shut up stranger, this Wooper is mine. Go Teddiursa!"
