Avatar Rating Thread

Alright. So, here's the deal. I was lazy and copypasted from the signature thread. ...And I feel as though the avatar thread in the games section has become much too overrun with +1 postcount-eqsue responses, and thus, I'm creating an actual thread for people who *want opinions* on their avatar.

There are rules for this. Please follow them.

1. Give a rating from 1 to 10. 1 being the lowest quality, 10 being best. Use the 10 only when you feel it actually deserves it though.
   
2. Give actual critique in your rating. I'm sorry, but I'm absolutely SICK of seeing just '10/10 grate' or '8/10 meh' all of the time. Give a reason why you gave it a specific rating. I just can't stress this enough.
   
3. You don't need to rate the one above you. Just name a specific user you'd like to comment on and rate away!
   
4. You also don't need to be confined to giving only one opinion, either. You can comment on anyone's avatar.
   
5. It's recommended that you should state in your post if you want a rating or not (I'm saying this for people who want to critique other's avatars, but don't want an opinion on theirs)

@Calvin-- 7/10 I don't like the backround, the neck is too big, unless it's a fat one, and it's just...I just don't like it. The backround is the big thing with me.

If someone doesn't ask for a rate, don't give them a rate.

Only reason I'm not giving a 10 is because I kinda think the eyes could be a bit bigger. But as long as that's your style, it's cool. :o

It's sorta...colorful, or my screen is messed up. Also, it's eyes are small. Other than that I like it.

Okay... the avatar I think has way too much red in it without any real contrast. Add some uh.. more yellow or purple in it. Either really light purple/yellow (not BRIGHT) or really dark purple.

Hm. Other than that though I like the texture of the background.. using just the same old art everyone else uses on their signatures turns me down, though. =/

I was going to use Suta-Raito art, but yeah, I like Arkeis art better. xD

Oh yeah, it was meant for Christmas and I wanted a red theme, unlike the green stuff I usually do. >_>;

... Erm. Why does EVERYONE use the same old Pokemon art for things? Suta-Raito, Arkeis, Sugimori.. it's not like they're amazing or anything ._.

That's not much of an excuse. It still needs some contrast, Christmas themed or not. lol
