One in the Morning (PG-13)

(Late at night, and I'm bored as hell. Something's telling me to write, but expect a lot of typos and errors. Oh, yeah, and the point of view is from Szayzel.)

I'm lying in my bed, wide awake, wondering about many questions in my head.. I shouldn't be up at this hour, yet I can't seem to sleep. I think I might go get myself something to drink- I could go for a nice cup of tea right now, to be honest- and read over some files while I'm at it.. but the comfort of my bed is nice, and it'll feel all cold out of my room. ..gee, I'm pretty lazy. On second thought though, I might regret not getting out of bed and looking over these case files. Sigh.. time to make myself some tea, as well.

There's a suspect in a case I'm working on at the moment that I needed to know more about. All I knew about them was well.. the fact that they worked as a security guard. Kind of funny, don't you think.. a security guard being a suspect for murder. There's quite a bit of evidence that points to them being the murderer, such as --

...I'll get to that part in a second. I've forgotten their name. Gimme a second, gimme a second. What was it again.. Sera.. Sera something.

Anyway, as I was sayingthinking. There is quite a bit of evidence pointing to them.. although, some of it gives off that "yeah, I'm forged, idiot!" aura. The weapon-of-choice is a knife with their fingerprints on it, and.. wait.. what's with me tonight, I can't seem to recall much about this case. I know that there was something that we found in Sera's security uniform. Oh, yes.. it was a wallet that had actually someone completely different's ID in there. Strange, don't you think.. especially because that there was also the victim's blood on it. Sera said that it was from the lost-and-found, and she went to go meet someone to give it back. I wonder who the owner of this ID was.. I think that's the next thing I should go look up.

..ack! I just spilled some of my tea! Hope that it didn't ruin anything. ..or not, since I just noticed it got all over the ID. Hmm, great timing, "Miss Detective" Szayzel. Just perfect timing. Now it'll smell like peppermint and be a bit sticky. Ugh.
