I'm currently on a hunt for desktop wallpapers, and I thought this would be a nice idea for a thread. Post your favorite sites for wallpaper here!

Pokemon TCG wallpapers (American version)

Pokemon TCG wallpapers (Japanese version)

Only two I have for now, since I don't have very many wallpaper sites bookmarked. XD;

I remember this being a topic at an old forum here, and I thought it would be interesting here. So, post a picture of your desktop here!

All I have though is this super-old wallpaper from the aforementioned old forum. Check out my laptop when it was still pretty new.

I'll probably post new pics, though.

Here's a picture of my desktop as it looks right now.

These are definetly not as small as I posted them though. First one's like.. 1280x800, and the second's 1400x900. ...

Shopping Thread

I've had a few people come to chat looking for new computers, and asking around for what's "good" and such. Well, here's a thread for that too. =)

First off, advice of mine for buying new machines or hardware:

- Operating System (OS): Know what you're getting. I can't stress this enough; if you want a computer with an OS you're not familiar with, your best bet is probably to not get it. If you really want something new, do all the research you can before you try it. OSs are expensive ...

(Fat DS) Numb shoulder...

Has this happened to anyone besides me? After playing the same game for a couple of days, the L, R, and sometimes both shoulder buttons occasionally don't respond. (This is especially painful in Fire Emblem, where you absolutely cannot survive without the R button. -_-) I've found out that periodically switching games helps for a few days (or this might just work only for me <_<), but is there a permanent fix?

#nothemepark Now Open!

I'm not sure what IRC clients our users might be using, so I'll just post whatever join methods I think will work.

- For Firefox users: Get chatZilla. After that, use irc://irc.freenode.net/notheme or type "/join notheme" on Freenode to join the channel.

- For mIRC, use "/join notheme" on server heinlein.freenode.net to join.

That's all I've got for now. If you have another IRC client, let me know and I'll look into it.

Alright, #nothemepark, Take 2! Let's hope it doesn't ...

Future Wii Virtual Console releases - Nintendo Opens Ears to Fans

This is from a Fire Emblem fansite, but I think really it has relevance to all Nintendo fans. The closing date doesn't seem to be indicated (25 is the page number), but we'll all be going crazy sending in ideas ASAP, right? :D
